Underrated restaurant. The chorizo burrito is extra crispy house potato's. With the extra hot homemade salsa. Carful not for the gringo or the weak.

Had the breakfast carne asada enchiladas and 3 days later I'm still think about it. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The beans were well seasoned and the homestyle fries were simple, but delicious. They didn't need all the fluff of onions, bell peppers, and whatever else other dinners use. Fried potatoes with a well balanced seasoning salt is all you need. The day I went there were only two servers, but you wouldn't have known it because they were hustling to and from every table. Both of them were extremely welcoming and warm. They kept the food coming and the coffee mugs filled. The place is very small and quaint. Not much frills. Simple decore and set up, but that's all you need when the food speaks volumes.

This place is legit. I ordered the steak omelet and it was perfect. The carne asada was delicious and their salsa was so good it almost overshadowed how fluffy the eggs were. The next time I'm in SoCal I'm absolutely heading back to Colton for breakfast.

This place is literally 3 doors down from Dennys, and charges more. This is in Colton, which isn't exactly a wealthy area..Yet it's always busy... Why is that? It's because it's freakin' awesome! I've been here three times now , as I go to Colton Family Dental for my teeth.. It's over an hour from my house, and going to the dentist isn't my favorite thing to do, so House of Eggs has become my reward ... Every ingredient in every dish tastes like they spent years sourcing the perfect product.. The Cheese and Avocados in the California Omelette taste like the best versions available. The Eggs Florentine have a perfect balance and flavor... The house potatoes are seasoned to perfection.. And don't even get me started about the coffee.. Better than Dunkin'! Plus great Mexican Breakfast items like Chilaquiles- Done like they are supposed to be! HUGE portions of everything! I'm a big dude... I can eat... but I could not finish everything... This is a breakfast place that takes what they do seriously.. And it's a normal room full of normal people with normal jobs... There is no stuffy fake ambiance.. It's a normal, comfortable place where you can eat a great breakfast in basketball shorts and a hoodie and feel completely relaxed, which allows you the ability to just sit and enjoy what is probably the best breakfast in Southern California! The price is reasonable for how much incredibly high quality breakfast you get. The service is excellent.. It was like our server had psychic powers.. I looked up to find him to ask for the check just as he was about to hand it to me! I love that!

Walking in we immediately got greeted by an enthusiastic server. The decor was similar to Denny's or Norms but the food was geared toward the signature mexican dishes. The fresh toast halves were extremely soft! And had a nice fluffy taste! Sometimes when I order French toast the powdered sugar can be overpowering but there was a good balance between the flavor of the butter, French toast and powdered sugar. I would definitely recommend this! My main entree was the steak and eggs with a side of hash-browns and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The only complaint I do have is that I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out well-done. I would definitely recommend this place as an excellent breakfast or brunch option!

Great breakfast cafe located in the Colton area. The menu offers a wide range of breakfast options. I was in the mood for an omelette and the Meat Lovers Omelette hit the spot. The restaurant has a typical cafe feel and quickly filled up at 8:00 am. Plenty of booths for comfortable seating. The quality of the breakfast & service was outstanding. I will definitely try other menu options on my next trip.

Warm friendly service. Place is very clean. Food is good. Well seasoned and portions are a little bigger than usual. Reasonable price. Ambiance is family style. Quiet to average noise. Open 7:00 am-2:0pm everyday. Only take away is very limited parking and only one allotted HC slot. Very nice dining experience.?
